5 watts maximum

I downloaded this app last night on my cell phone. It is really great, you can select one of the servers to listen to, and it's free.

And what about this little receiver? It looks very nice and tiny. Something for the nightstand. Of course with headphones. Price: about 500 USD.

I worked 2 stations with JT65 on 80 meter this morning. Running 5 watts. UTØSE and DL9SUB. But… I was also spotted by WA1KOO, K2RH, WA5NTI, KN3A, RN6AM, HI8PLE and W5KF. You can see that 5 watts will do with JT65A.

    JT65 met QRP is erg leuk. Het verbaasd mij nog steeds hoe ver je met QRP kunt komen.
    Die glSDR App heb ik ook gedownload. Goeie tip.
    Werkt hier op mijn Android perfect!

  2. Thank's for the lead to glsdr. Saw your mention of it on your blog today. D/L it for my HTC cell phone. Immediately hearing 20 meter signals. Now need to D/L for my tablets and start to play around further.

  3. Hall Paul, mijn collega probeerde de app op zijn Samsung maar kreeg het niet werkend. Ik ga het vanavond eens bekijken met de tablet van mijn XYL (ehhhh, als ik permissie krijg!). Is wel erg leuk. Zelf heb ik niet zo een telefoon. Dat kleine radiootje is een leuk hebbedingetje, mooi design ook. 73, Bas

  4. my YL won't let me touch her tablet, either. That receiver seems a bit pricey. For another $150 you could have a new FT-817ND. 73 Dick

      Yes, I think your right, but I like that tiny design, and on holidays or when I am in the garden I like SWL-ing. That receiver has a nice display. 73 Paul
